With the sun shining and smiles all around, our young Silverbacks had an amazing day on the pitches, playing some fantastic rugby and, most importantly, enjoying every moment of it.

Every player who attended deserves to be celebrated for demonstrating the very best of what rugby brings out in young people and the wider community. Throughout the day, we saw Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship shining brightly across all of our teams.

From encouraging teammates and showing respect to opponents, to working hard on the pitch and celebrating each other's successes, our players represented Faringdon Rugby Club brilliantly.

As a club, we couldn't be prouder of how our young players performed – but even more importantly, we are incredibly proud of how much they enjoyed their rugby and their day together. That is what being a Silverback is all about.

A Huge Thank You to Grove RFC

A special mention must also go to Grove Rugby Club for hosting such a fantastic festival.

The event was well organised, well run and brilliantly attended, providing a fantastic opportunity for our young players to experience competitive rugby in a fun and welcoming environment.

We are hugely grateful to everyone at Grove who helped make the day such a success.
